Kitchens are usually the most disruptive room to renovate, so the planning matters as much as the fitting. We work through the sequence with you first, including how long you will be without a working sink and cooker.
We fit kitchens supplied by any of the main suppliers, and we handle the building work around them such as removing a wall or moving services.
- Strip out
- Old kitchen removed and disposed of, with services capped off safely.
- Preparation
- Plastering, levelling floors and walls, and moving pipework or sockets to suit the new layout.
- Unit installation
- Base and wall units fitted level and secure, with doors and drawers adjusted properly.
- Worktops
- Laminate, solid timber and templated stone worktops installed with neat joints and cut outs.
- Appliances and plumbing
- Sinks, taps, integrated appliances, washing machines and dishwashers connected and tested.
- Finishing
- Splashbacks, tiling, flooring, skirting and decoration so the room is ready to use.

- How long does a kitchen fit take?
- Around two weeks for a standard kitchen once materials are on site. Stone worktops add time because they are templated after the units are fitted.
- Will I be without a kitchen the whole time?
- Not usually. We can often keep a temporary sink and appliance running for part of the job, and we will tell you at the planning stage which days will be the hardest.
- Can you fit a kitchen I have already bought?
- Yes, we fit kitchens from any supplier. Send us the plan and unit list and we can quote from that plus a site visit.
- Can you remove a wall between the kitchen and dining room?
- Yes. If it is load bearing we arrange the structural calculations and building control sign off, then install the beam and make good.
